Defined Benefit Plans:
Investment Design Review and Investment Fiduciary Services for defined benefit pension plans.
This is a type of pension plan in which an employer/sponsor promises a specified pension payment and/or lump-sum on retirement that is predetermined by a formula based on the employee's earnings history, tenure of service and age, rather than depending directly on individual investment returns.
Nonqualified Deferred Compensation:
At Montanti Advisory Services, we can help quarterback and design a Nonqualified Deferred Compensation Plan that can protect one of your most important assets: key employees.
A nonqualified deferred compensation arrangement allows an employee to provide retirement income and often death and disability benefits to key employees, often with benefits in excess of those permitted under qualified plans.
A nonqualified deferred compensation arrangement also is:
- Exempt from ERISA’s regulatory requirements
- Can attract and retain valued and highly compensated key employees
- May provide different benefits to individual employees
- Does not require IRS approval
